possible but unless he plays next year as a DH in the AL will not happen.
It is incredible what he has done as a 40 year old.

Yes.

Barry Bonds is projected to hit about 8-10 more this season (768-770). He will only need 30 home runs then next year. Being as he will most likely play as a DH, he won't have the wear and tear of playing outfield.

He will get to 800 home runs.

Bonds wants to play long enough to get 3000 hits. He will be trying to collect any kind of hit rather than swing for the fences so his final season won't be a 30+ HR season. His career HR total will be around 785.

i dont think he will. at most i see him having 1 more season. he will have to hit around 30 more after the end of the season i say 785 - 795 would be a good estimate. hes getting older and steroid testing is in effect so he wont up another 73 home run performance. hes only going to play next year to join the 3000 hit club. hes got somewhere between 100 and 200 left to do that, which he will get and after that i dont see him having any reason to stick around besides getting a ring. but by then he wont be good enough for a world series contender to want on their roster. he should go to the american league next year. but the yankees, red sox, and tigers should still be the main contenders and they wont sign him. he wont play the nl (except for san fran) because he wont be able to play as a position player effectively.

Yes he will reach 800 and probably more. In an interview he said that he still has lots of baseball left in him. I think he still has 2 or 3 more years left in him.

yea because he still has some season left, i'm gunna say he'll hit about 5-10 more homers, and if he decides to play next year, he'll have about 30-40, maybe even 50 homers
