have you tried good used parts from an auto recycler? much cheaper. i bought a used air flow sensor from a junk yard for $200 and it works just as good as the $450 one from the dealer. also the junk yard gave me a 30 day warranty. also try having the radiator and engine back flushed before you buy an expensive part. also the temp sensor might be bad, have it checked before you buy.
