I am going on holiday to thailand, via Abu Dhabi, The return flights have been changed and we now have a 14 hr stop over in Abu dhabi, We are wanting to book a room in the airport hotel but can't seem to find anything on the internet with any information on prices or how to pre-book a room.

Any information would be great.

We arrive at abu dhabi at 12 midnight, so we would be too tired to be driving anywhere and theres not going to be much going on.

We just want to book a room in the hotel. The airline does not provide accomodation for us.

Thanks annoni, but i cant visit the reception until i go on holiday and dont want to get there, then not be able to get a room. I want it sorting before we set of or im going to be worrying about maybe having to sleep on a hard airport floor and itll ruin the holiday

Thanks Rashid, but thats a bit pricey for me. Just wanting asimple room where we can get our heads down for a few hours then showered, not going to have much time to see Abu dhabi by the time we've had a sleep, shower and something to eat

First of all, I would like to wish you a good trip and hope everything goes well.

The airport is a 30 minute drive (140KM/Hour) to central Abu Dhabi. I have timed this myself. However, there is a hotel about 5-10 minutes away, that provides very nice accomodations and a shopping mall right beside it. The name is "Al Raha Beach Hotel". I think you have booked the same airline till your final destination and have a stopover in Abu Dhabi. In this case the airline staff will arrange the hotel accommodation for you in Abu Dhabi if the stopover is 14 hrs.

Contact the airline office to confirm it before your departure.

Wish you a pleasant trip.

I suggest you ask the airport reception about the nearest location of an affordable hotel also check the hotel section on the following page:

You can make reservations on line.

instead of waiting for a good reply you can just visit the hotel reception and ask for a brochure of leaflet =)
