is it coming from the speakers? does it still do it with the volume all the way down
has it recently been in storage for a while?
is it currently in a damp area?

it could be the high tension lead breaking down and arcing to the chassis [a bit like faulty spark plug leads in a car?]
the ht lead is the one connected to what looks like a giant suction cup look along it when the squealing is going on LOOK BUT DO NOT TOUCH!!!

if it is arcing, make a note where then - wait for a few hours before touching it - try re routing the lead so that it is further away from any points of contact.

if in any doubt do not touch THERE ARE MANY THOUSANDS OF VOLTS INVOLVED IF IN ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS

good luck
Andy

If it is digital, it is probably a signal or weather problem.
If it is not digital, it sounds like a tuning problem.
