British industry has been destroyed by, first the Labour Unions during the 60's and 70's. In second the European Union which has allowed the continental companies, with their governments backing, to buy, asset strip and close any company they do not like us to have. The whole has been watched over by the Labour party lead in the first instance by Wilson and in the second by B'liar and Brown.

Both labour and Tories have destroyed British industry.
Maggie started it and labour has just carried it on, they show no vision for Britain and import far to much.

Labour has destroyed industry, NHS, Education, Law & Order and caused our soldiers to go and fight and die for other countries when they signed up to fight for our Queen and country, and after Tony Blair has done all this he resigns, what a shining example to our country.

A mix of governments, companies and unions.

Governments not caring, companies not caring about there workers rights or conditions therefore the unions got lots of power and fought very hard for there workers rights but sometimes went too far and caused too many strikes. Sabotage is another reason why many companies went downhill workers were bored and would put a spanner in the works for something to happen.
