Yes and no. Are you getting anything in return is the first question. If so, then is it enough that you can live with. If you are looking for love and there aren't even signs of little love buds blooming, you might want to re-think the whole situation. You cannot under any circumstances make anyone love you. Sometimes though people don't know how to express themselves openly. Watch for the little things. Do they get you a beverage when you need one, or get you something that they know that you are going to need without even having to of been asked. Actions speak louder than words.

Not any more. At some point, you have to either take the risk or never know.
I scare this one dear (male) friend of mine every time I tell him (usually with a laugh) "I love you". I do love him. I'm not sexually attracted to him, I don't want to date him, but I love him dearly.
