Last month I had a break from the pill due to lack of repeat prescription. Although I was very careful this month I am a little concerned that my period is 1/2 days late. Normally whilst on the pill my period is spot on like clockwork, however before going on to the pill I could have been days late. Should I have expected to start as regularly as when I am on the pill or would I be back to waiting for a few days. Also I have read about people having pill free months and not having a period at all. Has anyone had a similar experience?
I know that if I am still in this situation in a few days I should take a test or go to my doctor.

Some women take a break for a month or two based on what I've heard some other women who have done it say. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
