what are some good Harem animes?

The basic idea of "harem" anime is one (usually somewhat socially inept) guy is surrounded by a large number of women who all seem to fall for him to one degree or another.

The two classics in that genre are Tenchi Muyo and Love Hina. Tenchi has a bit of a sci-fi bent, and I find all the different timelines a bit confusing. Love Hina is more a straight-up romantic comedy.

I like Ai Yori Aoshi, which is more a sweet, quiet romance. Girls Bravo is somewhat similar to Love Hina. Maburaho has a magic-user sort of angle. Negima does as well, though the main male character in Negima is too young for the romances to get serious.

There's Hand Maid May and Saber Marionette J (robot girls, in both cases).

I've watched Happy Lesson but don't think it was as good as the others listed here. And there's Eiken, which also isn't all that great, but loaded with fanservice.

I think Ranma 1/2 is borderline -- yes, there are several girls chasing Ranma, but at least as many guys chasing Akane, and all those characters just serve as distractions for the couple.

I don't know what you means (good anime harem genre or 'good' harem?) but I love Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It's one of the best anime of this year (or maybe last year) and it's about Lelouch who want to destroy Britannia Empire. He was surrounded by at least 7 girls so watch out for nudity...

Others are Girls Bravo, Futakoi,etc (maybe Pretty Face and Ranma 1/2 also included). I hope this can help you..

I'm assuming you mean animes with all or almost women in the cast.I suggest you try watching Steel Angel Kurumi.
