She has this problem all the time, I don't know what the problem is. I think it's the sump pump.. her bathroom has been over flooded w/crap and water. How much would a plumber be and do you think they'd bill her? Or is it due upon completion of the work? She doesn't get paid for another 2 weeks.

*It seems like everyone is needing a plumber this time of year.

The "sump pump" shouldn't have anything to do with her bathroom and the toilet "flooding over with water/crap" like you describe.
This is another problem or a different one and yes, the plumber has to eat and pay bills like everyone else but, maybe he can make arraignments. Sometimes I did out of my heart, when I saw someone with a problem that considered their lifestyle, I would do a job and wait for my money. Especially for older people or invalids.

It sounds like you have a plugged toilet line that needs to be rooter-rutered out. You might call "Rooter-Router" first, not a plumber, the lines sound like they need cleaning.

If the water is from the sewer (crap water) the sewer line is plugged. If she has a septic tank the plug could be at the outlet in the tank remove it and the water will drain. If not call a plumber with a sewer machine. The plumber will probably charge so much per hour for his time and for the time used by the machine. He will leave a bill with her that if not paid within approximately 30 days will add interest.

i think of that's universal to would desire to form of hit it or jiggle it to get it going often times, or to wiggle the plug around - I actual have had to try this too. So, i don't understand yet i'm making plans on getting one extra backup sump pump so as that if this one finally dies i'm good to flow.

what you described is a sewer ejector pump which is like a sump pump but bigger,im assuming this since you said it affects your bathroom i know the pump is around250 to 300 dollars and the labor will cost around the same, some big companies will charge alot more but they will accept payments as well but it might cost you double,im sure if you ask a small company they would accept payments as well like i would do or they take credit cards....if you are tight with money get estimates first, and explain your situation to them on the phone so there is no problems later good luck if you need to ask me more message me i would gladly help....tina
