Hello, Today i woke up early (4Am-ish) and was flicking through my Tv stations, I went to channel 3(Tnt, "turner network teleovision). I was shocked to see Many women fully naked, even showing there privates in perfect view, haveing sexual intercourse with each other. Any one who watches TNT knows this is not what they show, at any time of the day, they show things such as "law and order"(the irony). So i call my Cable company to complain, about a hour later it gets fixed(i recorded all of it as proof). I was just wonering arent channels such as this subjected to laws which state they can not air such things? and if so do you think i have a legal case i should act on?

Well thanks, bye.

If it was a glitch in the Tv feeding, then wouldnt the cable company be at fault, therfor liable, hence i would be able to take legal action against them instead of the channel?.

One time my 9 year old son came down to watch TV before we were up, and it turned on to a porno channel. He was pretty upset, and we had to talk to him about it for quite a while (as well as explaining the birds and bees and safe sex). I was pretty upset and the blocking function had failed. Not really sure you can sue anybody though, because nobody was hurt. You may be able to complain to the FCC about it.

The fact that they fixed what was going on doesnt really give you grounds to take any legal recourse. It was probably a misfeed from another channel onto that one. Thats why the cable company was able to fix it. I dont think TNT was showing that.

Don't think it will work and of course you are now in possession of material which may fall below the law and as such how can we be sure of the purpose you recorded it for?

As the other answer said, I do not think you have any legal recourse.

Be prepared for people to offer to screen your video to determine if there is recourse.

You did not suffer an injury - no free money for you. Sometimes Sh*t happens and you don't get paid for it. Welcome to life (and yes...life is not always fair either)
