I leap out of bed o' course.. no point in lingering there in the comfort of that nice soft pillow, under the warm bedsheets with my lover!
Most mornings, 4 out of 7 I am not going to gym first thing so I race up to the office and turn on the computers, and while they are (they take forever!) starting I put on the kettle and make myself a "banana egg flip" (a milkshake with raw eggs, a banana and some honey)... and I take all those vitamins, fish oil and glucosamine. Then I log on to the computers and open up my email reader *that takes forever* and I make a nice pot of chinese green tea.. I pour one for my lover and one for myself and set myself down at my desk with a hot cup ready to start work!
Now round about then I realise I haven't got any pants on so I finish the tea and race back downstairs for some slippers and a dressing gown before the kids get out of bed and destroy the kitchen again.
Then I check my diary.. which has listed all those things I have to do today and I cross out the ones I just don't want to do and I move them over to tomorrow!
then I look at the list and I work out which things I can delegate and I send out instructions via email for those... and cross them off my list... Round about then I decide I need another cup of green tea having done such a brilliant job so far.
That's how I organise my priorities.

Good morning, Moon!
My first priority every morning is to take some time for me.
Every thing else seems a little easier to accomplish if I have not rushed right into it and have had time to collect myself and start the day out right.
This morning, I spent time giving Sawman thumbs up on all his best answers from his first page. That was my priority because we miss him a lot.

Hi Moon! I wake up to the sound of a baby squealing in glee or sometimes crying. So, my priority in the morning is meeting her needs. I usually start out the morning picking up a cute baby and changing her. That is exactly what I want to do, but some mornings I would looooove to just go back to sleep. : )

I wake up and let the dogs out. Bless them, they've managed to sleep all night, and need to get outside.
If it's not a work day, I ease into the day. Today, being Sunday, I think I'll make myself a real breakfast. *poo* I don't have any eggs, so much for that idea. Unless I get dressed and go to the store..oy.
I could buy a paper too. Hmm. Later.

Usually, my cats come back in to wake me with a kiss and some bird chirping noises. If it's early enough, I take a shower, grab a cup of coffee and make a huge fruit salad and some other stuff for everyone's breakfast. Hope you got some sleep!

I know there's no best way for me to start a new day but to say a prayer of thanks to the Lord that I'm able to open my eyes to see another added day into my life. I'll never start any morning worrying about the things I didn't finish the day before or the things I'm yet to do over the span of the day. Surely I won't let worries take all my minutes of the day away.

YO! Moon, I don't have a routine at all. My priority, clearing up the trail of cereal that the kids have left from midnight snacks before it is walked through the house. Again. Have a good Sunday too.

Moon...1st thoughts or words spoken as soon as I become conscious to being "awake", lol, are usually my "pleading the blood of Jesus" over myself, each member of my family, our relationships, finances, health, etc.,. and of many people from R&S that have either asked for prayer or whom had stuck in my mind or the Lord BRINGS to mind for prayer...
I have always cherished the early mornings...they are "MY" times, lol...I read God's Word, pray, ask Him things, study other sources...now most of them being on the internet, I have comp on too. ...so, then I pop in here at R&S to check out networks questions or starred questions, read a bit, answer some, then, take out the dog, feed her and the cats, get more tea, greet grandson good morning, and the day is off and running! LOL
God Bless You all :)

Get out of bed with a purpose.
Wash teeth-potty..(not always in that order)
Drink a full glass of water.
Sit by the pool for only about 10 minutes, just watching the light flicker on the water...no thoughts really.
Love on my dog
Take a shower
dress
and off to work to greet people in a positive way.

Dear Moon,
I'd focus on one thing at one time. I'd enjoy a long shower and take my time to wash my hair. Then, I'd enjoy drying my hair. Then, I'd grab my favourite perfume and ejoy a spray. Then, I'd enjoy my weetbix breakfast and a cup of coffee. After all that, usually I'd be able to think clearly and priorities and ready for the day.
Have a great Sunday.. Take care.
