What else books and internet is for?

Aren't they instant at any point of time? But subsequently our memory should be enough strong to remember them for so long.

Development on the science front is gradual but on the technological front is too fast and so vast. Science perhaps moves in countable steps while technology leaps in steps.

Of course there could be, I suppose. But it would have to take the form of somehow burning neurological patterns into the brain (and thus mimicking the human memory process), sort of like burning a CD or DVD. And since our current understanding of the human process of "remembering" is extremely limited, I don't see it happening any time soon.

I guess when we can directly alter a person's memory prolly by using some sort of electric signals, then we'd prolly be purchasing books as flash drives.

But to answer your question, it is eventually possible. Don't believe any guesses to how long its gonna take.
