A snail and an anacharis plant. maybe ghost shrimp. Even betta is too small for it.

A betta is about the only fish that can live in a 1 gallon tank, and even that is a bit on the smaller end.

A betta is the only fish that can survive in that amount of water. Note that I said "survive" - it will not thrive, and will certainly not be happy or healthy.

I suggest you put some aquarium soil or gravel in there, and plant your tank. Then add a few cherry shrimp. It will look beautiful and is very easy to maintain.

the only thing you can really put in there are mystery snails and ghost shrimp
it's way to small for any fish

Filtered water if it's a fish tank.
A clown fish and a filter would be awesome.
