I loved "Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End"....THE BEST. Johnny Depp "is" Capt. Jack Sparrow. Keith Richards was fun in a cameo as his dad.
Ratatouille should win an award for animation. It was beautifully done. The expressions on the faces of the characters and the rats were so lifelike. You would have to see it to believe it.
I recently saw "Stardust" and thought it was also one of the best. Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert DeNiro were outstanding in their roles. Still in the theaters.
"Blades of Glory" is now out on DVD and if you haven't seen it, be sure to rent or buy it. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I saw it twice and plan to buy the DVD--can't give any higher praise than that!

I dont think a good movie has come out in a long time. And nothing really looks good. Its all the same. Love stories, murder mysteries, and incredibly cheesy horror flicks, sprinkled w/ the usual comedy about the average joe and his mishaps at work/college/ moms basement that isn't funny. At all. It seems every year things get more dumbed down and ridiculous.

i would say transformers is probably the best out this year so far for action and sci fi for comidy its got to be i now pronounce you chuck and larry its a adam sandler film but its really good and really funny aswell kids films its gunna have to be happy feet surf's up has to much story and the kids cant keep up with it but happy feet has what the kids like and saves them gettin bored tryin to figure out whats happening and crime has to be outlaw its a great film and danny dyer is great as always hope this helps

This year so far the best for me was transformers, the life of others ( a german film). I cannot wait for the release of thundercats!!

Best coming should be Balls of Fury.
