I have known two myself. They still get very depressed about it and think about it every day.

Whether you have an abortion, give the child up for adoption, or keep the child, for some they will always wrestle with their decision. I've only known one woman who had an abortion that was for a reason other than as a form of birth control. Last time I saw her, she struggled with her decision still, but was confident she made the right choice at that time in her life. You don't just "get over" a decision like that. It sticks with them for life. And that doesn't mean that it was a bad choice, but it was that momumental.

Yes, I know one woman who has been regretting the decision since she was a teenager. She's now in her 40's. I also know a woman who had 2 abortions; she later tried to conceive but could not get pregnant, even with fertility drugs.

I have never met a woman who have gotten an abortion but I have heard many of them get very sad.

All of the few that I know personally can hardly talk about it because it effected them so much.

One local woman who I don't know personally committed suicide because she couldn't live with the fact.

nope, but it is understandable to still mourn the loss of a being even by your own choice, and knowing that it was murder should be hard to face as well

yes I have but she just had a baby recently so that is helping her overcome some of the pain she has been going through.
