Please don't use 9/11 as a reason.

There are dozens of websites I can give you that will tell you of the 100's if not 1000's of firemen and rescue workers who are suffering because of Guiliani's poor decision making skills in the clean up following 9/11!

Anything else?

maybe my mayor of a 6000 person town is ready to become President LOL HAHAHAA

Hey, remember that Guiliani got exposure to the site, just like the 9/11 firefighters did... except that it only took three days of exposure for the firefighters, what it three months for Guiliani to do.

If the firefighters say he didn't do enough, and he says he did, I'm going to believe the firefighters. I always believe people who would pull me out of a burning building before a politician.

I say let the Republicans elect the most liberal Republican ever to the nomination.

It is my understanding, however, that NYC saw a sharp drop in crime during Guiliani's term. So I suppose that's an upside.

Traptors - Obama has been a US senator since Jan 2005 - so nearly 3 years.
Before that he served in the Illinois senate from 1997-2004.
He also served as a lecturor in constitutional law at Unversity of Chicago.
This in no way compares unfavourably to Rudy's 8 years in municipal politics and his time in the US attorney's office.
The question of "experience" is one that could be thrown at most of the candidates. Thompson was 2 terms, Edwards 1. But most of them have considerably more experience in politics that Dubya did when he became president after spending 6 years as governor of Texas (and losing a House of Reps bid earlier).
Counting only the time spent in office is clearly not a fair indication of political experience as most have been involved in politics to some degree much of thier adult lives.

He has great experience in running a city that is more complex than many states.

You see, the President must be capable of running the Executive Branch, must be an experienced manager of large organizations.

Activists are quite inadequate in this regard.
