im going to say don't do it. as a guy, i would be a little grossed out. i dont know of the health effects of that would be, but monistat works in just a few days. if he needs it that bad do something else for him. i dont know if he would find out as a result of doing it with you or not, but if he did, i would think that would end badly. dont risk it, stick with a bj or handjob. lol.

If you have sex when you have a yeast infection, you just give the infection to the male. Males do not have symptoms of a yeast infection but are carriers. So it will be a back and forth infection. Even if you use a one day medication, the infection is still there. I advise to wait 5-7 days after you use an Over the counter treatment before engaging in intercourse.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Having sex while dealing with a yeast infection is not a good idea. You could pass it on to him and if he gets it, then after you treat yours you could get it again.

I would recommend talking to your doctor as well for more information.

That is the most disgusting question I have heard all year. The only person who can answer these questions is YOU... I nor anyone else on here can advise as to how stanky your infection is, so you might want to figure that out first and then make your own decision.

Oh yea and it is possible for a guy to catch it, and it's not fun for him at all!

Yuck.

Bad idea he can pass it back to you. Best bet, go down to the drugstore and get one of those 1 treatment deals, Then you just try not to have sex for like 24 hrs after you use it. Good luck!

You shouldn't. It's like asking if you can scream when you have a throat infection. It's too much friction, when your vagina is already having troubles.

Do other "safe sex" things, like fooling around stuff you did when you were younger, not involving your vagina. That can still be fun & enjoyable for you both.
