Wanting to have it all, makes us miserable. Because we can never achieve this. As soon as we reach to our long whished top, we start wanting even more. There is no end to this.So there is never an "All".
We better try to get something better from what we have at present. And then, again, a little better than that. So, gradually we get satisfied which what we have right now and still have the motive to improve with moderation. There is no perfection. As soon as we reach "perfect" and "all", we get unhappy, wanting it All and Perfect!

honestly, it is best to have never had it to begin with.
1) How can you miss something you have never had ? >Whereas, if you had it then lost it, you wouldn't know what to do with yourself without it.
2) You can't take it with you, when you leave.
>Pharoahs tried that, mummifying themselves & being buried with it.... but yet, it is all stilll here.
3) If you had it all, you would always be looking over your shoulder. There would always be someone out there trying to take it away from you.... stealing, killing you, etc.
>People now with it all.... have body guards, & live like prisoners secluded in secrecy.

Just never having it to begin with would be easier.

I don't really know. If it was a special person that I could not live without, it would be too big of a void to fill. If it were material things, I would be OK to lose them if I previously had them

Have it and lose it, it's better to look back on something that made you happy, than to have never been happy and wonder whats it's like. It's gotta be better than the life i have now.

Better to have had and lost than never to have had at all.
