What I mean is do souls use or consist of energy?
What's your proof or reasoning?
(Had a tough time categorizing this question, lol)

I believe that our soul is the source of our energy. When we die, that energy goes elsewhere & the body stops functioning.
Actually studies have been shown that a body weighed just before death weights a bit more than it did just after the death. Thus we can conclude that the soul & spirit has left the body. And if the bosy weighs less then the soul has energy that can be measured.

I had a near death experience and my energy left my body and I was traveling through the white light. My dad had an allergic reaction during surgery and his energy was above his body above all that was happening. He saw things that the doctors and nurses were doing to bring him back to life.
My dad was a fairly conservative Christian pastor and if he said he had the experience I believe him.

Thus I believe because of my own experiences in life and also because I believe there is a after life where our energy goes.

I don't fully understand it.

Proof is going to be hard to come by. I could say that if souls exist, they probably use and generate energy, but since I can't prove they exist, I wouldn't know where to go to measure their energy, and if I did, whatever energy they contain would probably not show up on any instruments we have. Of course this doesn't means souls , or their energy, don't exist, but that at least right now, souls are a matter of belief without proof (or disbelief without proof).

People are born with a brain that has emotions, but many people consider your emotions your spirit which is also considered your soul. If you are atheist, you dont believe there really is a soul, it's just your brain creating the emotions, so then the answer would be NO.
But, if you categorized this question in the religious section, I'm very sure you would get a lot of answers where religious fanatics would say YES, but they wouldnt have any proof of anything.

well this question cant really be answered until you confirm the origin of the soul and the origin of energy. then by golly we're debating God vs Bang again.
if it were God: then our soul is independent from the physical world and thus does not use the energy of this world, but more of a metaphysical energy that cant really be understood since we can never fully understand God. (He is infinite, we are not)
if the origin was Bang: then there would have to be a relationship between the soul and energy. but since we are talking about a Godless universe we cant really say the soul is real, its just an illusion created by the Godless universe to progress evolution. after all, a dead inert universe cant create an alternate (spiritual) reality without a spiritual entity already in existence experiencing it. BUT for the sake of argument and to answer your question, the soul would have to be linked to energy since matter its self only exists in the form of energy until observed by a soul or entity.

Nothing (0) differs from soul.

ENERGY IS MANIESTATION OF SOUL.PECULIAR NATURE OF SOUL IS IT CAN

MANIFEST AND YET RETAIN IT"S CHARACTER.THE PROOF IS SIMPLE LOGIC. ENERGY CANNOT FALL ON IT"S OWN.IT MUST HAVE A BACKING IN SUCH AWAY THAT
BEYOND THAT BACKING NOTHING EXISTS.
