Ok, so I went to the doctor on Thursday because I have been having sharp vaginal pains. He said everything was fine and there is no infection or inflammation of the cervix, so he thinks it's uterine spasms that are causing the pain but he gave me no explanation as to why. I thought they would stop, but they haven't and now to compound htat my breasts are killing me. I normally have sore breasts before my period but never this bad and all the veins in my breasts are showing and it's freaking me out. The vaginal pain started about day 29 of my cycle. The sore breasts on day 26, which is normal, but it has suddenly become unbearable. I have a 36 to 41 day cycle normally. It's just totally freaking me out, I don't know what to do to make it stop. The pains are sharp and momentary. I feel them in my cervix. I have had some very minor cramping as well. Anyone who has experienced anything similar to this or docs, please tell me what the hell is wrong!

You're not pregnant are you?

The drug Buscopan (hyoscine hydrobromide) will help with the spasms.

If the veins are more noticeable then it sounds like pregnancy to me. I knew that I was pregnant before I missed my period because of this symptom.

I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor you currently use.

As to what's wrong it's hard to say because there are a number of possibilities but the second opinion doctor mwill be able to help you to try and figure out what is going on.
