Logic to be used here:
(1) In english alphabets, C comes before E and so Chicken was the first than EGG.
(2) Chicken must be there to hatch the Egg
(3) God does not eat Eggs and so he can not make Eggs first
(4) Nobody like to have mating with an Egg. It should be Chicken first.
(5) Eggs are dumb mute objects like stone. They can not be the first to make so much noisy Thing like Chicken.
(6) Chicken should be the first as they have got frustrated with their own noise and so they decided to produce a very Calm creation like an Egg.
(7) Eggs can not excite and can not help other eggs to get excited. Chicks (you know what i mean) should be the first as they are the objects for this (some kind of excitement) to others even today.
... blah blah blah...
SO IT IS CHICKEN WHO CAME FIRST. Thank You! No more thinking on this in future too.

More likely the chicken, assuming you look at this from a Darwinian perspective.
On this earth there are millions of different life forms and probably millions of which we don't know about. Throughout the millenia single cell organisms have adapted to their surroundings and have evolved into multi-cell organisms. These multi-cell organisms then evolve into larger multi-cell organisms and depending upon what environment they inhabit, ultimately become the creatures that inhabit the earth today.
Now even on a primitive level, these organisms would have had ways to reproduce and whilst at a simple level (such as splitting of a cell) and in the right environment these 'creatures' could exist and grow, in other environments, these would just die. At this point, there would be a host creature but nothing you could call an 'egg'.
In the same way that the animals have evolved, then so has the means by which its development is protected, the complex creatures we know today would simply die otherwise, they would be too vulnerable to survive. This protection could be either from the mother creature holding on to the child creature or the child creature being born with a mechanism that allows it to survive in the environment that millions of generations of its species have lived in.
Look at fish eggs, they don't have hard shells like chickens but still have means of protecting its development. Look at the caterpiller/butterfly, again a means of protecting development based on its environment.
As creatures have developed, the means of reproduction has developed too. From the splitting of a single cell organism to a body capable of creating a complex organism that man eventually decided to call an egg.
At one point in evolution, a complex organism was 'born' that was too complex to survive without protection and died. Generations later, these organisms were 'born' with a thin membrane that was strong enough to shield the organisms from the rigours of its environment and survived. The metaphorical 'egg' was then born. The mother creature had been around way before this point.
Man defined the egg, organisms would have reproduced for millenia beforehand and the metaphorical 'chicken' therefore came first.

the chicken because without the chicken, there would be no egg because you need the chicken to make the egg to make another chicken to make another egg.
eggs can only be produced by chickens so no matter what happens, the egg will never be there without the chicken in the first place. even if there was an egg, there needed to be a chicken to sit on the egg so the egg can hatch.
------------
if there was one chicken, the chicken could of mated with another bird to produce a chicken-like specie which will eventually evolve into a chicken as it mates more chicken-like species.
or
there could of been billions of small organisms that evolved into billions of chicken and the chicken mated eachother to create another chicken egg to make more chickens.
or
two birds like a rooster and a turkey could of mated and produced the first chicken specie which will soon spread throughout the world so there is just as many chickens as there are to roosters and turkies. and not just rooster and turkey, there could of been millions of other combinations such as turkey and duck or duck and rooster.
or
god could of created the first two chickens named chadam and cheve.

the egg. cause if there was only one chicken, how would it have made an egg? unless it came already pregnant, but then when the baby was born, it would have had to been a boy. and there is a 50/50 chance of that.
if it was the egg, then when it was born, there would be no other chicken to make more chickens. right?
it had to have been the chicken. i think.

In evolutionary terms, the egg came hundreds of millions of years before the chicken.

Easy!! The egg. When humans where evolving an ape gave birth to the first human. Same with the chicken, a chicken does NOT have to lay the egg, but instead its evolutionary predecessor!!! Ha ha!! Who gives a crap, they both taste delicious!!!!!
