Yup...they are my best friends now.
Just because we grew apart sexually does not mean that the entire relationship was a ruin. I fell in love with them for a reason...and no matter, who , what , where or when...I will always have a place for them in my heart...

With x #1, yeah, we still email occassionlally. We had a kid in common. Kid is now dead, but still e sometimes.
With x#2, no. I had to call about a mutual friend, he gave me the answers I needed, but I never felt the need to contact again. This jackass dumped me for a chick that dumped him,,, no respect.
Last BF and I were good until he got some possessive chik (ha! I wrote the match.com profile for him that she hooked on to!), but now she says we cannot talk.
My take: Treat ex's like stock.. sell or a loss or a gain, don't matter, but never look back.

In most cases yes. I get along with the ones I still see, but have lost touch with most of them. But I'm on good terms with everyone, and am not bitter or resentful or anything.

Me and my x arent the best of friends by any means, but because we have children we are very civil to each other.. and for the most part get along well.. because we want whats best for our children, and whats best for them is for us to get along as much as possible.. , have we gotten into arguements yeah, mostly in the begining of our divorce.. but as time goes by we seem to get along better and better..

Most of them, and one has also been a friend of my family for 30 plus years, so we still talk and see each other regularly - BUT, my husband is ALSO friends with him.
I still live in the same area I did since kindergarten, and I dated a lot of guys - it would be impossible to not bump in to them from time to time.

Nope! Not because I am still mad at him for cheating on me BUT because I value my new relationship now. It's a way for me to show respect to my husband and that I am willing to give up my ex completely for the betterment of our relationship.

I've been only in in like 7 relationships in my whole life...which I only talk to one..once in a while...and they other ones...one is a dad, other one got married, other one went to the navy, and my ex(the one before my husband) I wish he CHOKES!!!!!!...I hate him, after all he put me through, I wouldn't ever talk to him again..and the one before this one, my high school boyfriend, I still talk to him, and we are best friends to this very day..and I'm glad...I couldn't ask for someone better, as a friend...

i don't think exes should be friends if there is no kids involved. they are exes for a reason, if we like each other so much, we won't be exes. if we still like each other, it's not fair for your current partner. not a good thing by any mean.
