lake erie is one of the five great lakes it in connected to new york and pennsylvania

to the person below me lake michigan (one of the five great lakes) is located near michigan, erie is not

Lake Erie is on the Eastern side of Michigan but, it's not on or boundary, it's South and East of us. Lake Huron is on our East side. Lake Erie is the smallest of the great lakes and the shallowest.
