read write and speak my language, celebrate our holidays, eat our dishes, and a majority of my friends are of the same heritage as i am. visited home 3 times during my life, too.
i believe its important to carry on your cultures and heritage...represent!!

I do it through food. I'm mostly italian, and my dad grew up with rustic italian flavors and he brings them out through cooking. so he's taught me some cooking skills and how italian food can actually be something besides pasta and red sauce.
