No FF awards for the following greats:
Dilip Kumar in "Ganga Jumna"
Amitabh in "Deewar"
Rafi for the song ''Khilona jaankar tumto"
there are a number of other examples..where an overwhelming choice of the masses was ignored by FF...

not at all.
They always award the people who r good with media! otherwise how would u explain Amir, ajay and salman not getting awards. I remember in 99 Hum dil dechuke sanam got best awards for evevrything but best actor!
it's just entertainment but nothing fair!

film fare awards are the best in the industry. the examples u have given might be best in your mind. but at the time when this filmss were released there were others better than these too

ya some time FF ve ignored some of d best peoples........
though they r ignored they stand as STAR along us.......
FF tries its best 2 give awards properly.........
v cant make every 1 satisfactory.........if majority if satisfied then it can b taken as d best result.........
