I could still start the engine the next day after jump start... I then run the engine at idle at 2000rpm for about 10 minutes. Anyway, now, after a week, the car is total dead with nothing on...not even the central locks, lights, brake signals at dasboard...

sounds like you're battery is dead and will not hold a charge.

Take the car in to an auto parts place that will check the battery and the charging system for free. I'll go with the battery not holding a charge. But it could be the alternator. good luck.

Sounds like either the battery is weak, or something is staying on like the voltage regulator is sticking on and draining that battery back down. You didn't mention the vehicle, but if computer controlled, it can be draining a weak battery after a couple of days. You need to fully charge the battery with a battery charger then have it tested at your local auto parts store.

first take the battery to a parts place like auto zone and let them test the battery for ya. i had the same problem with a car of mine fully charged battery would die in like a few days the plug going to the alternator would not stay plugged into it and a mechanic said it sounded like i needed a new alternator. but to start off cheap go with the battery.

take it to a good local parts place they will test it for free-batt also if the batt is good take the car down there and have them test the charging system. It sounds like the zenier diode in the alt may be bad it works as a one way switch like a check valve prevents fluid from going the wrong way The alt is actually a/c volts and the diode helps turn it into d/c if it goes bad it will basicaly ground the batt it only takes a couple ot day to drain the batt good luck

First thing to do: Check the battery buy a battery test to see if it will hold the charge but I think you have a bad alternator.
