Okay.
last night i had a dream my sister and i were in atlantic city and i walked into the ocean, but i couldnt get out cause i would go toward shore, and the wave would pull me back, then another wave would come, and the curl on it would go over top of me. and i couldnt get out of the ocean, and i thought i was going to drown. i had my cell in my hand and kpet it in the air so the water wouldnt get on it, but it was so rough, and going over top of me. the whole time my sister was just on the shore watching and laughing as if she didnt know i really couldnt get out and she didnt know i thought i was going to drown.

does that mean anything? i just thought it was so random and weird. thanks.

i also remember the water was brown and dirty. and when i would get near the shore, i would just get pulled right back far into the ocean. i wanted someone to save me, but no one did. i saw a wave over top of my head, so i went under the water so i could try to get away from the wave. then i woke up.

My interpretation of your dream is that you are going through a rough patch in your life right now where you feel somewhat overwhelmed.

The fact that you are close to the shore indicates that the current issues, as overwhelming as they might seem to you, are actually close to being resolved.

The fact that your sister is watching and laughing but is not helping because she does not know that you are in distress tells me that you normally turn to your sister for advice and, for what ever reason, you cannot tell her your problems this time.

The fact that you have a cell phone which you are trying to keep above the water tells me that you want to call out for help but you are not able to do it - perhaps you feel embarrassed or undeserving.

I could be completely wrong on my analysis but this is what I saw in it.

Feel free to email me if I am correct and you would like any advice.

Edit Update:
With your additonal information about the dirty water and the large wave... It leads me to believe even more that you feel overwhelmed that the path to "safety" seems to be muddled and difficult to navegate.

If this is correct, you need to evaluate the obsticals that are making it hard for you to get through this crisis. You need to turn to your friends and famly and tell them what you are feeling and why you feel the way that you do.

There is a good chance that you created your own problems and you feel guilty about it. You feel ashamed and you do not want to "reveal" your dirty secrets. Trust me, I understand this completely. The truth is that most of your friends and family love you so much that they will want to help you through your troubles.

You might not feel deserving or you might not like the advice that they give you but you need to decide if you are better off keeping yourself in an overwhelming situation or if you are better off "drinking their medicine" and extricating yourself from this overwhelming crisis.

There are also crisis hotlines out there and you might be able to find some low-cost or free counseling.

Good luck and I wish you all the best.

hmm im no psycologist, but heres what i think,
i think the waves, and you feeling like your being drowned sybolizes you feeling overwhelmed by something going on in your life, that your sister maybe unaware of, or maybe shes aware of it, she just doesnt seem to be trying to help,
and i think the fact that you were holding you cellhpone in the air while you were drowning also has some significance,
i think it shows that maybe you might be very materialistic
because while your drowning, instead of focusing all your attention and energy into saving yourself,
you hold your cellphone above the water,
when you could be using that arm to help keep yourself from drowning.

i probably didnt get anyhting right,
but i hope i helped :)

You are feeling overwhelmed ..... you are on the verge of taking a plunge in what you think is wrong direction.... you need help.... your sister? well she either does not know or does not want to help.
Is it that bad ? Brown dirty water.... you are being blackmailed ? Or pressurised into doing things you don want to and cant fight back..?
Drugs? Sex?
Tell me dear and I may be able to help you.

You are in a situation from which you would like to come out but isn't capable of doing so alone. Your sister being close to you is'nt able to understand your plight.
