I have been on my period for over two weeks now. Is there a way to get it to stop without the use of birth control?

You need to talk to a doctor NOW instead of asking people on YA! about what to do to stop it. They will be able to help you in this case. It could be serious!!!

Wow, that is way too long to have your period. See a doctor ASAP! Because you don't want to end up with a fibroid or something else bad. It could be possible you have something like a ovarian cyst so, see a doctor immediately. Most likely, they will put you on birth control to help control your symptoms. You can always ask for alternative treatments. But do what the doctor says so something bad doesn't come out of it!

Wow...You really need to see an OB doctor.
I know someone who had that problem. She used birth control pills to make her period regular again. It was the kind that you take daily orally. The dosage of hormones is low, so there is usually little side-effect.
Sometimes doctors give patients samples to try. You may ask for samples to save some money.
Eat right and take vitamins to keep yourself healthy since you are losing more nutrition than usual.
Hope you feel better soon.

Your period really shouldn't last for over a week. You should see a doctor to make sure everything is ok, especially if you're bleeding heavily. Until you can see the doctor, I suggest that you make sure you're eating right. Reduce your stress. You might also want to take a multi-vitamin. Sometimes if there is something missing in your diet, It can throw your body out of whack.

You might want to go and see a doctor! A period really shouldn't last for more than one week... and two is just WAY too long.

I suggest you see your doctor right away! It's better to be safe, rather than sorry.

Good luck, and hope your period stops soon! :3

that's hard but I know that citrus can delay your period, so drink plenty of lemon juice and add lemon to your foods...it used to work for me! try it and see what happens..
