You have several strategies at your disposal:
If you're nimble, do as the first commenter said, try to swim him, by clubbing your inside arm against his inside shoulder, knocking him off balance and keeping him away from you. Next, swim with your outside arm over him, and go get the play.
If you're stronger, attempt to get low and keep your position. Shuffle left and right, repeatedly shooting your hands out and recoiling quickly. If you see the play coming your way, dip and rip your inside arm to get him off of you, and make the tackle.
But remember, don't give up your position! If they see you afraid to go after him, they'll give him a quick pop pass and you'll be riding the bench for the rest of the season. You're on the strong side, so you'll have friends helping you out most of the time. Make sure to keep your side locked down.

very simple even if he is stronger than u or has better position make ur choice on how ur gonna attack the rb 1st. If u see a Lineback pursuing u want to have ur outside contain, if there is no one to support the outside attack the from the inside out. The faster u make ur descision the less time the wr has time to lock up ya... If u start by playing at least 5 yards off u should be good.... there are alot of ways to get out of a block but it is alot better to avoid it in the 1st place after all it is a game of angles so juss dont give up any

If he's significantly bigger than you the swim is really hard to pull off. I went back and forth between LB and DB in high school and what worked best for me in space like that was just slapping the inside hand toward their chest. You can't let them get that inside hand on you because thats their leverage. If you get that arm inside (grabbing the wrist is a good dirty trick) you can slide right past them. Also remember, you don't always have to beat him, just get to a place thats in the way of the play and hold your position. Make the RB account for you and change direction and you've still done a solid job.

When the receiver approaches you get very low, extend the whole arm that is away in the direction your heading its like if the RB is heading to your right side get low stick your left arm between you and the receiver and push him out or slip through. You can also try this while the receiver approaches you if he starts blocking you get low and spin off to the direction of the RB. Good luck you need strength in your legs but having a solid upper body can help you shave off defenders.

Do a swim move with your inside arm to push him to the outside. This way, even if he gets his hands on you, you'll be able to get a good release.
