Does anyone else think that we never would have been attacked if Bush was not president?
I think that the terrorists were so angry when another BUSH became president, they wanted to seek revenge by planning the 911 attacks.
I truly think that 911 would never have happened if Gore was President.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes, people do know a year or more who is running in the presidental elections.
The 911 attacks didn't happen until after 9 months after Bush was president.

I personally believe that 9/11 could have been prevented, but people wanted it to happen so they could put forth the actions to remove the people's rights. Bush could have stopped it, because there was plenty of Intel to have made them act but they didn't

NO,

911 was aimed at the American people which includes our "Elected" officials. Not because of who was president.

The attacks on America would have happened no matter who was in office.

You have to remember what the terroists want. No freedom of religion, no womens rights, death to all Jewish people....

They want women to walk 3 feet behind your man or to be openly beaten in public if this law isn't followed. Women are to always wear a black towel around their heads and are not to speak unless spoken to. Women are also under law not able to pursue a career outside the home. Women and young girls are sold in Iran and the middle east as wives.

Now then who is fighting to preserve American Freedom? Yep G.W. Bush. He is doing exactly what he said he would do despite enormous political pressure and scrutiny. Like it or not he is a leader whose plan is working...We haven't been the victim of an attack since 911.

I don't think when Clinton shot Tomahawks at a Pharmisutical Plant and at an elementary school (killing all children attending) had anything to do with 9/11. Nor Jimmy Carters friendship with the Shaw. Nor all the $$ we toss to Isreal. Nor our friendship with England who's Empire basically shaped the middle east boundry's where they are today.
Bush was just another American President. It would have happened no matter who was president. Can you imagine the Hate of the US if Liberman was our Vice President? There is only 1 thing a radical muslim hates worse than an American. They hate anyone who is Jewish worst of all.

Did you miss the bombing of the USS Cole or the terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia and Kenya.

I read a note from the Muslims which was directed at President Andrew Jackson. It used the same language of hate and described how they would use a jihad to destroy us.

These people have been telling us they want to kill us for years. Why do you have so much trouble believing them?

If Gore would have been President he would have dispatched a few lawyers and burned a few low level operatives

To think of that 9/11 does no longer have occurred if Bush wasn't president is a unsuitable questioning. 9/11 might've occurred to each physique who became president that ingredient. sure, in keeping with threat steps ought to be taken if somebody else became in skill, even nevertheless it does no longer be stopped. for occasion: might the bombing of Pearl Harbor be prevented if FDR wasn't president? No.

The attacks would have happened no matter who was president. People need to realize outside this country they see Americans, not republican or democrat. The twin tower atacks were from an escalating campaign that had been going on since the 70s. They could not care less who was in office, that attack was going to happen.

I though I was alone on this one! No, I do not think that the 9/11 attack would have happened were Bush not elected. Its a shame, though, that everyone was so afraid to say so at the onset. Maybe this war could have been shortened considerably.

NO IMPOSSIBLE .Considering the fact that they tried to level the WTC when the Clintons were in office - AND the fact that in 1993 , OSAMA BIN LADEN TOLD CLINTON HE WOULD DESTROY AMERICA ..I think 9/11 would never have happened if Clinton would have taken capture of bin Laden from Sudan , when they had him in custody - BUT CLINTON REFUSED !
I'm flabbergasted when some of these answers quote terrorists as true gospel over our president . What's up with THAT ? If that's liberalism - you can keep it .

watch the movie ZEITGEIST at you-tube or google...
9/11 was a false flag operation like the burning of the Reichtag.(Hitlers excuse to invade Poland)
The Bush family is evil and they allowed the attack to happen because they wanted endless war... so they could proffit... bush read a story about a goat to little kids because he worships the goat of satan not the true savior.

It may have happened, but it wouldn't have been nearly as successful as it was if we had had a competent president.

Bin laden himself admitted he expected the hijackers to have only 20-30 minutes to carry out their plan and that at best maybe one of the planes would hit its target. Thanks for Bush's ineptitude, the hijackers had uncontested control of US airspace for over 2 hours.

Also, if the repubilcan congress had done its job to protect America by requiring locking bulletproof cockpit doors as the Gore Commission recommended, the hijackers would have never gotten into the cockpits. Instead the republicans played politics and went along with the airline lobbyists, resulting in the overwhelming success of the 9-11 attacks.
