i am guilty of sneaking some chips, cookies ,soda into the theater.

i was able to get a chinese combo plate #2 in there before,stunk the whole place up everyone got mad at me?

hell yeah. I ain't gonna spend $5 for a watered down soda from the theater. I usually wear a big jacket and sneak in soda and some candy. I will spring for the popcorn though

Soda and candy. I have my huge 'movie purse' which I use to smuggle snacks into the theater. I'm not paying $4 for a soda and $4 for candy that I can get for less than half that at the grocery store! I haven't been caught yet.

Who doesn't sneak food into the theater? I'll sneak in a grill too from time to time... do some bar-b-que. If you just put some glasses and a wig on it, buy it a children's ticket and wheel it in on a wheel chair. Nobody asks questions because they don't want to seem rude -- I mean, there ARE funkier-lookin' people out there.

I Don't sneak it in, I just have a soda, some chips and some candy that I bought from the dollar store, and just keep it in the dollar store bag, and just walk right in.

Always. We go to the 99 cent store and buy Milk duds and gummi candies. It's better than spending 20 bucks for the same candy.

"Sneak food in the movies"? Funny - I can take just about ANYTHING into the cinema - except hot food (eg Pizza, fish and chips, KFC, McDonalds).
Must be the American thing. Here in Australia, we can take chips, biscuits, sushi, bottles of soft drink, muesli bars and others - into the cinema. I even taken subway in - they don't like it but they can not stop it.

Not food, but sometimes a bottle of water. I don't usually eat snacks at the movies (unless someone I'm with gets popcorn and shares it) but I like to have a drink, and I like water.

Every time I go to the movies I take my own munchies. I get to eat what I want at half the price of the stuff the theatre sells.
