I don't know but the place I would look is at a marine salvage company. You could try the yellow pages for a coastal city such as L.A. or do a web search for marine salvage companies. Also these are the companies that you would most likely go to work for once you learn underwater welding.

i used to work for oceaneering international in the gulf of Mexico some years ago. if your looking to do this, you first need to go to a commercial dive school to get your commercial dive license. then start off as a tender; then dive tender;then diver 1,2,3 and so on. i left making 10 bucks an hour plus 2 bucks a foot. average 300 bucks a day as a dive tender. more when you move up. to be real theres not much welding done under water because the weld cools to fast making the weld brital. most platform are semi submersible and if they need welding done on them, they add air to the ballast and raised platform to surface. however, there is alot of torch cutting done underwater. it not an easy job. its long hour, dirty, and a lot of time off shore.

i'm not a welder, yet I paintings with expert welders and that they are able to make a incredibly sturdy volume of money staring on the certifications that they have got. i've got heard that the greater unique the pastime/region (underwater, specific metalurgy, intense stress, and so on) the better that's going to pay.

what part of the world are you talking about and what depth. It's also dependent on what passport you have and if you are working in your own country or as an expatriate.
