Too bad you can't make the roommate clean it, but if he couldn't aim he sure won't clean, eh? I would use bleach and then a product called Urine Gone. I used Urine Gone to get rid of some cat urine odors. Cat urine is so foul and nothing gets rid of it completely, but spraying this product on the affected areas really worked. I was amazed. If it took care of cat urine, it should work for roommate urine. I hope you find better roomies in the future!

Man, what a shame! I agree with the bleach and soapy water, but I also agree with the possibility of the dry wall having soaked up the urine. If not then clean away and seal the wall with some primer/mold/odor/sealer like "Kilz". It's great before you re-paint. Good luck!

First you should be getting a new cleaner roommate or at least one that can aim properly.. Is that too much to ask? Then have him armed with only his wit a bucket, mop and some rags clean the bathroom with bleach water... I have my husband trained to aim and if he misses there's some LYSOL disenfectant wipes right on the counter.... good luck

Bleach should do it! Add some to hot soapy water, or use the Clorox wipes. And use gloves of course, lol! You may even want to mix some bleach and water in a spray bottle and mist down the entire toilet, underneath, ect. and let it sit a bit.

There's this Lysol cleaner...sorry i cant be exact on the name....but it's a yellow liquid and it smells like lemon. You dilute this in a bit of warm water and then with a sponge, clean up the walls. It makes the whole bathroom smell great! Trust me, i do it on the regular.

I agree with those who said bleach. I work at an animal shelter and bleach is the ONLY thing that can conquer the smell of cat urine. If it can beat cat pee smell, human pee should be a piece of cake.

Bleach. Kills germs and smells. Mix it with water. Follow the directions on the bottle. It's cheaper than most cleaners and it works 100% of the time.
