Movie from the 80's? where a guy is wearing fake breasts in the shower?

Probably came out in the late 80's early 90's. There was some kind of law enforcement watching from an apartment building across the street. A guy had a fake woman suit (fake breasts) and a wig on in the shower. I think it was a sting setup. Then some one comes in and shoots him? or maby he was stabbed? The people from across the street run to his rescue but he had already died.

...sounds like part of the initial set-up premise for the 1991 action/suspense/thriller, "F/X 2"...

Rollie Tyler, now an electronics toy maker, is reluctantly called into special effects action once more, to catch a killer; the cop who asks for his assistance, has him set up a false victim sting, to catch the killer (...the set-up of which was basically another police officer, who was decked out in feminine attire...wig, false breasts, etc., while in a shower). Unfortunately, the sting goes awry, and the cop in the shower is killed; as a result of the screwed up scenario, Rollie finds himself on the run, once again, and ends up teaming up with his old buddy Leo, to find the real killer...

...or something like that!!!
