I'm not sure why everyone has a problem with thong underwear. It's one thing if someone is wearing pants so short you can see them, anytime you can see your underwear it's just wrong.
Maybe it's an issue of comfort. I don't think it really matters as long as she's wearing clothing to cover them. They are just another kind of underwear. How you can equate thong underwear on a seven year old as being dirty is beyond me. Thong underwear on a stripper doing a lap dance, nasty.
My first reaction was to say no too, then I scrolled through the answers and they all seemed very kneejerk.
So just remember, it's just underwear and she's not taking her kid to a strip bar.

No 'thongs' are definitely not appropriate for any 7 year old child. I would replace them with designs that are more consistent for the age group.

Heck no!!!! Are you crazy! My oldest daughter is 9 and I wouldn't even think of letting her. I get her cute boy cut or bikini with cool colors and prints.

personally i say no just because the shops sell items to make our children look like small adults we don't have to bend to their will and buy it they are children for such a short time we should enjoy our kids for what they are children
