If you have no intention of loving ... then there is no reason for living. Love it is what sustains us ... breaks us down ... fulfills us ... builds us back up ... it is the whole point of living ~ both the positive and negative aspects of it. Life is FULL of disappointments that can hurt us emotionally as well. What matters the most ... is how we deal with it. I have had my heart broken ... and each time I come back stronger and more resolved to find the true love of my life. The hurting helps me to realize what I don't want and won't settle for ... again.
You can't "plan" love ... nor can you decide to avoid it. Love doesn't work that way. We all have been and will continue to be "emotionally" hurt at times ... otherwise we'd be numb, unemotional zombies with a life devoid of any meaning. Where is the joy in that? Think about it ... every good memory revolves around love ... for our passions, our families, our friends, and yes ... romantic relationships.
Fearing love because you are afraid to get hurt is a weak excuse and a false attempt at being "tough" or "strong". It takes courage to love others because it involves risk ... it is much better to be brave and take risks because the reward is THAT much sweeter.
Regardless of the how it ends ... I have the courage to choose love ... every time.
Peace to you ...

yes it is.... because most people when they have loved once before and lost that love for whatever reason, they will love again at some point in time. Those who have never loved really don't know what they're missing....it's not always about the physical connection but the emotional and spiritual connection as well... When you connect with someone on many different levels, that my friend is truely magical....and even though time may change things and for whatever reason you might lose that love, nothing can take away that one moment in time when you were someone elses world...and they were yours....You don't choose love, Love chooses you....

I believe so. I think that being in love is such a wonderful feeling. I don't believe I was ever in love with anyone but I can feel the love with other couples who love each other very much. It's such a beautiful feeling that I hope to have one day.

Absolutely better to try and lose, than not try at all. Time has put it in perspective for me, and I have no regrets for trying to make love work. Painful, yes, but glad I had the opportunity to put myself out there and try. And I hope to try again someday!

Yes, because you can say you knew how it felt too be loved, while some don't and may never know.

yea...love is so awesome!!
you wont regret loving some one, and have them love you back and date, and THEN break up (lose) ..you wont really regret this if it was really love,
but if the other person never loved you at all...then its better not to have loved them in the start
