Witchcraft activities are not restricted to gender. Both males and females are welcomed. Depending on the context, I learned that the guys can be called either 'warlocks' or 'male witches' but as a girl I find 'male witches' easier on the ears (just like in the TV series 'Charmed'). Plus a warlock is often associated with evil so 'male witches' it is ;)

I would hope so! I've been in the crafts since before the birth of most on this forum. In point of fact, when I was born it was still illegal in many places and Wicca didn't exist.

P.S. If anyone calls a male Witch a "warlock" they may end up with a 4 warts to the urethra curse. A warlock is an Oath and secrecy breaker. A witch can be either male or female and either can also be called a crafter.

Of course, but first i would like to clear up a mis conception that many people seem to have a male witch is not called a warlock, a warlock is an oathbreaker in which they have betrayed their coven and cast out. So a male witch is called a witch the same as a female is.

A good example would be Harry Potter. So I guess there is no gender bias in witchcraft.

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library.

Definitely! You CAN be a witch (warlock means 'oath breaker'). Don't worry about "bloodlines". That's just for braggin' rights. Male and female are both needed in nature. Blessings on your journey!

Yes. It's not a girl thing at all. There are plenty of male witches. If you want to become one, do some research.

Guys soo can be witches, although magic, for a witch, tends to follow a matriarchal family line, which means through the females. Only to say, cuz females "create" life.
