I know all of us either were, or are still somewhat shy at a young age, but is it possible that a female in her mid 20's could be too shy to tell me she likes me? Lots of flirting and playing around, and other stuff goes on between us. If it wasn't for the age difference (I'm 10 years her elder) and she's a coworker, I would of asked her out awhile ago. But for some reason, I'm thinking she's just to shy to tell me. I've asked lots of female friends about what she does to me and does it seem like she likes me. Almost all of them tell me that it sounds like she likes me.

But are females that age (mid 20s) still shy sometimes when it comes to displaying their feelings? I always thought it was the guys who were hesistant to express their feelings.

Everyone is different. Rather than wondering if she likes you too, why don't you take a plunge and ask her out? If she doesn't feel the same way, well at least you can stop the constant questioning in your mind.

If shyness is in the personality it will rarely go away. But you can make it better. Work with your child to be more outgoing and social. Make sure the child is not issolated as this makes it worse. Join clubs and play groups. Let your child see you make the first move. What I mean is like when you are at the park, talk to other mothers, ask a child if they are having fun and so forth.
Let your child see you open up to others.
For adults it is good to get into a group that does public speaking. You will feel like you are just gonna die when you have to get up and talk but each time it gets easier. Show your child that you are different.
You have to work at this every day. Talk to people, make conversation first.
Practice with your child in doing a report in front of the class. Take turns with your child doing the presentation. Make it fun. Make it a family thing.

Shyness can keep your child lonely and scared. This is not healthy. Help them break out of the box and you will find it will help you too.

comes and goes for me, i'm 29 and still shy sometimes although some people say i'm quite bold and sometimes i am. I don't think age has much to do with shyness.

What do you think? Does shyness correlate with physical age? She could be actually shy to tell you that she likes you.

To answer your question....some people it never stops. Shyness is a mysterious thing. Some people out grow it and some don't.

I'll bet if you ask this gal out she will open up to you. She probably needs to be able to trust you totally to be able to let her hair down....so to speak.

I think you should just get to the point and ask her out....you will definitely know then whether she likes you or not and not deal with the mind games.

Seems like she is scared to get hurt. Understandable. I would just ask her out anyway.
