big dogs or little dogs?

I'd rather have a medium sized dog (like a type of terrier.) Not, a small one (like a Pomeranian.) And not a big dog (like a German Shepard.)

Definitely big dogs because you can play with them a lot more. But, not too big like a St Bernard or Great Dane. Little dogs can be cute if they don't yap. That's really the worst part about them, that little yappy bark (like Pomeranians...yuk).

Big! I've had a Labrador, a Keeshond, and now a large mixed breed ( St Bernard, Newfie and Akita mix). I would be afraid of hurting a little dog!

Definitely BIG! My favorite dogs are an American Mastiff, a Great Dane, and a German Shepard. Can't get much bigger than that. I guess my affinity for horses has gone to the dogs since I can't have horses here! lol

I'd like to see some sucker break into my backyard with those 3 around! =)

My all time favorite, love of my life pet, was my Old English Mastiff. When he put his front paws on my shoulders he was taller than me. I loved him with all my heart, you want to talk about love hurting? You could have driven a truck through the hole in my heart when he passed at 11.5 years. Anyway, I have had medium and large dogs, no mini's so far but not out of question. I'm an animal lover so.....

Big dogs! they're sweeter than little dogs alot of the time because they're not as intimidated. Intimidated dogs tend to act like they just hatched strait from hell. The fight with my collie and my collie is the nicest dog. :(

Big dogs will eat the neighbors's cat but destroy my yard...
Little dogs take up very little space but provide little protection
