I most certainly believe this! It makes things more easily to accept and overcome! It is a good way and a positive way to look at things. We can be stuck in traffic and getting to your appointed destination is difficult and you may become angry because you are going to be late. But, then you hear on the news that a really bad accident happened with many fatalities just right up the road from where you are and if not for the delay you could have been one of the fatalities. So, being stuck in traffic happened for a reason, to save your life for it was not your time pass on! We have to make the best of every situation and believing that everything happens for a reason is very comforting and can give you peace.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. That means whatever we do , whether we do it with or without reason will result in something else,in some other event. This is how I take the idea to be.
Apart from that, sometimes certain events take place which could not be traced back to the part we are supposed to have played ,before their happening. And for some of those happenings we cannot find out the reason whatsoever.

100%. The unfolding Universe is my idea of God. Assuming life progresses as it "should," you have to assume whatever has already happened should have happened. And the past is reality so it's hard to argue that it wasn't "supposed" to be that way simply because it DID happen. It may not be a reason like "there's a lesson in this for you," although it certainly couldn't hurt people to look at it that way. It's more in the nature of dependent origination. Each thing happens because of its connection - however small and seemingly unconnectedness - to another action.

Everything DOES NOT happen
for a reason! That's called
predestination and means that
our life has been pre-programmed by God or
your favorite diety. So then it
follows we have no need to excell at anything because we
are just slaves, living out our
puppet lives. This pre-destination theology entered the Christian church and has been a great hindrance. We are totally
responsible for every day and every act we commit in this life, whether it be bad or good.

What is to happen will happen. It is not for you to reason why. This is a passive way of looking at happenings. There are people who make things happen for the good and become true leaders. I believe in their reasoning.

Every effect has a cause - not necessarily a 'reason' which means something different. Reality is a multi-dimensional field that is responsive to consciousness, and our beliefs, thoughts and feelings are a part of the chain of causality.
Its a failsafe system for creating the life you want.

Yes I belive in It. Even the science says that there was nothing happen without a reason. Sir Issac Newton says that Each and every action has equal and opposite reaction.

Tell me this, how could anything happen without sufficient cause??????????
Sufficient cause is "all that it takes to make something happen." It is the "y" in "all it takes to make x happen, is y."
Sufficient cause, is a reason. Think about it; without it, nothing happens.
