In dark cloud 2 how do u get the rainbow falls boss?

You cannot attack the Rainbow Butterfly immediately, you must let it separate into 7 colored butterflies. First, you must attack the flower's tentacles to get them to close. I used Monica's sword. Meanwhile watch out for the Rainbow Butterfly's beam and crystal Ball attacks, which can inflict status ailments. Once the butterflies separate, attack them in the order of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.). Use ranged weapons, because if you try to come close to them, they will fly away. I used Monica's Magic, but I'm sure Max's ridepod or gun would work fine, too.

Also, there are two scoops here, one is rare so you only get one chance to get it. First, take a pic of the giant flower (Lafrescia Stem) to show to Claire. The rare one-time scoop is take a picture after the 7 butterflies reunite (after you beat it). This pic is called Rainbow Butterfly United.
