Out of respect for the families who are awaiting news, I will continue to pray for a miracle until facts to the contrary are presented. It is hurtful to think about the agony the miners, their families and loved ones have experienced in this most tragic event.

I feel very badly for all involved, and it appears now that the miners are not alive.Don't know if their families are getting any money, but they should be. Miners are not well off, and these men were struggling as best they could to support their families and to survive. When this is all over, I wonder who will be held responsible; Mother Nature or the mine owner? I can sense some huge law suits down the road.

I feel very sorry for the miners, and for their families. The longer the search goes on, the more it is beginning to appear that they will not be found alive. But our family is praying for them and their families.
The families should surely be getting paid. ?
In a news article I read, the head guy had cared more about $ than safety. If that turns out to be true, I hope he spends a long time in jail.

They will find them eventually. Mining is a business. They get the coal out and then they find the bodies.
You know it's the poor that suffer. Think about where that coal goes? Here in Ohio, the coal is used to keep our electric bills down. Whatever the purpose for that mine... there are usually OSHA laws in force to keep stuff from happening. Something went wrong. It happens.
We don't know when it is our time... we all will face death eventually. Some will live full lives; others will not. I lost a 10 year old kid 2 years ago. You just don't know when it's your time. What is important is that when that day comes you are mentally prepared for it. For me... knowing that I will be with the Lord in heaven is my comfort and my confidence.

Yes I feel sorry for the families too.
For your information, it is very common for miners to get trapped and die in the mine. I wish more can be done to improve the living conditions and employment of people living in extreme poverty.

I think it already is their grave. If not, they may be insane.
I doubt that the mine owners are paying for the rescue effort. I imagine it is being footed by the tax payers.

They won't be found alive, it's impossible. Like the last mine disaster, I'm sure they'll find notes and stuff to leave thoughts for their loved ones.
