woah that is a really interesting question. Hmmm... I would go with the past. It would be great to be so knowledgable. Also, I would choose the past because I think that it might be depressing to know everything in the future. You would know every war, when everyone you love will die, if the rich will keep getting richer and disregard everything else. I think the thing that helps get a lot of people through life is the hope that they can make a difference in some way (well at least that's what helps me), and that hope could easily be squashed if the future sucks.
