You need to wear a tampon to go swimming. First of all, it is extremely unsanitary to have blood coming out of you into the pool that other people are submerging their heads into.
Also, if you try to use a pad it will just absorb the water, and not catch any of the blood.
Tampons are really easy to use if you get a brand like Tampax Pearl that's designed for teens. They go in smoothly, and are easy to figure out how to use.
Good luck!

Tampons or NO SWIMMING!
You will bleed into the water! It will be very unsanitary for you and everyone else in the water to not wear tampons while swimming.

I would suggest not going swimming then.
Spandex is not going to work.
You will make a mess in the pool.
If you don't want to use tampons, then just cancel swimming.

well you can take the risk of having the pad fall out or even not wearing one but you might bleed in the pool. and that wouldn't be good. or you could just wear a tampon. or wearing something REALLY tight and not a bathing suit. also ask your mom or sister or something. they can help you.

you dont have to isf you dont want to. you dont bleed into the pool when u swim. the water pressure keeps it all in but if you get out and you have a heavy flow and i mean really hevy flow it might seep out but if you have to do something, just wear OB tampons. you dont feel a thing at all

Don't.
Try your hardest to put in a tampn, just put it as far as the top part (were the ridges are), get a plastic applicator.
AND RELAX.
Once it's in, I SWEAR it feels like nothing, like you do when you arent on your period. Trust me.
