You can actually swim without any protection, you know. I've noticed that when you enter the water your period will stop, not really stop, but the blood won't exactly leak out because of the water pressure. You don't really have to listen to what everyone else says. They've never tried swimming without tampons so obviously they won't know. Try swimming tomorrow without a tampon, oh, and I think you can try wearing those mini pads, they're really tiny so people can't really see that they're actually they're, better than tampons in all cases, I hate tampons, they are rather unhygenic in my opinion and they might destroy your vagina. so don't use them, tampons suck. and they are sick. So tomorrow just jump in the pool with your swimming costume on top and just make sure you swim a bit, oh, and you might feel a bit of a flow coming out but people don't really see it and it's just feeling because it dissolves, when you have a period you shower, don't you? Did you ever see any blood coming out? No, so don't worry.
Good luck with your brother.!

the only answer i know is tampons.
but when i was younger and didnt like tampons i just went to the bathroom right b4 i went swimming and then when i got out of the ocean i wrapped a towel around me and went right back to the cottage and went to the bathroom and got a new pad. but i dont know if that would work in a pool or not, cause if a little blood does leak you can see it, at least in a ocean you couldnt see it.

Well, I was not going to touch this question. But, you may want to take the advice and use a Tampon. Even that may not be the best thing, but, it something. You get out of the water and have blood running down your leg and everyone going to see where it come from.

well umm if your period is extremely light i dont think you would have to wear anything. but if not someone told me to wear a pad underwear then bath suit bottom over then shorts over that. i think its to much so i would skip the undwear part. or tell your brother you cant get in the water because its that time or you feel sick or something and just sit by the pool side and talk and enjoy eachothers company

Once you are in the water, your period will stop temporarily because of the water pressure, but it will start as soon as you get out of the water again. Tampons really aren't that bad. You can't tell that they are in there, and it is way worth not having to worry about your period while you are swimming.

You can go swimming without any protection. Tried this when I was 12 eons ago. Anyway, all you have to do is, when you changed into your swimsuit, go into the pool immediately (or as soon as you can) then after you are done, get out and change back to normal clothes with a pad. The pressure in the water prevents it from coming out.

have you ever used tampons earlier? Do you have somebody you could confer with approximately employing them? Tampons are compacted cotton used internally to absorb the clots and blood out of your era. in case you do not have a brilliant variety of journey with them, I fantastically recommend which you purchase a field of tampons with plastic applicators. The plastic appilactor has a rounded end and could make issues bypass much less confusing for you (and your vagina) because you could properly be green. persist with the guidelines on the equipment--that's incredibly basic and rapidly laid out for you. a number of them even have diagrams! in case you have in no way used them earlier it would take some prepare getting it in. the main intense element to do it relax and carry out a little deep respiratory. don't fret. that's going to probaby be ordinary to insert. If not, do not injury your self and stress over it. carry the two tampons and pads and in case you won't be able to get the tampon in, placed on a pad and a few shorts. that's not the tip of the international, I assure you. and don't worry with regard to the tampon soaking up water or falling out. Your vaginal muscle tissues carry it in place needless to say. depart it in for 4-6 hours, then replace it. have exciting on holiday!

Use a tampon, there is no other practical option. You may not want to but there is no other way you can go swimming. I learned to use them and survived you can too.
