Somebody asked this question on a Toronto radio station, and the Attorney General of Ontari plainly stated, if he's convicted, the nature of the charges against him would prevent him from getting into Canada.
Aside from Vince Ferragamo and Rickey Williams, I can't think of too many NFL stars who have come to Canada.

The CFL has a new, post Ricky Williams policy that prohibits CFL teams from signing any NFL players who are currently under contract or serving a suspension. When he's finished his suspension he will likely return to the NFL where he will have a much better opportunity to repay his debts to the Falcons. At $400,000/yr he'd have to play in the CFL for 50 years to pay off $20 million.

Many NFL stars? I bet you can't name that MANY. Some used the league to get to the NFL but I can't think of many (and I'm 46) who came here after being in the NFL and were stars in ths league. In fact, many who come to the CFL find it hard to adjust, especially quarterbacks. They seem to forget about the 12th guy and get picked off too much. I sincerely doubt we'll see any of Vick up here although he does play like a lot of qbs we've had here in the past. I think he's going to go to jail.

He doesn't have to worry so much about the NFL punishing him as he does about the legal system punishing him. He's facing legitimate jail time. Realistically, this could end his football career period.

The only way Vick ends up in Canada is if he's on the lam, and in that case I don't see him doing anything televised!
