Vagisil. look for it at the grocery store, wherever they keep douche. It is a soothing lotion, for itching and burning of the female area.

Ow! I know it burns huh.. I've been there and done that and it's not very fun. I've never experienced one during a hurricane. If I did have that experience, I probably would of spread eagle in the eye of the storm... Anything to cool the burning. OK but seriously, just keep putting on the cream. It's not going to get better right away. Patience dear, it'll work.

Keep using the lotion that your gynecologist prescribed -- it may not work immediately. Sometimes, our bodies take a little while to heal. It's unfortunate that you had a bad experience. If the situation doesn't get better in a few days, let your mom know and call the gynecologist.

call your doctor and this time ask him if it's possible that you were allergic to the type of glove he used during your exam... if he used latex or not, and if the lotion he gave you will help if it WAS an allergy to latex..... I'm taking a wild guess on the latex allergy, but it's one more maybe to ask about......

also, cooling compresses may make you feel better... a nice clean washcloth wrung out in cool water and placed on the area .... rinse and cool it again and again for as long as you can keep the bathroom busy.... hope you feel better soon!!...

agh that sounds painful i'm sorry..i've never experienced it personally i'd say just read the directions on the lotion and keep applying it as much as necessary, and that should help. i'd say time would be your best bet.

good luck with the storm as well!

The rx prescribed by your physician needs time to work. Be patient and continue the medication. Then if you notice your sx are still not better then call your physician.

i think you should just call a doctor and see what he/she thinks you should do. maybe you should go to a drug store and try to get an anti-itch cream and see if that helps.
