Checking out the people and see if I know anybody. Checking out the eats is the second thing.
Checking out what chair is facing the door so I don't have to
sit with my back to it.
Then I check out the host and hostess to see if I know them. If
I do, then I am all set for an enjoyable evening.,
Didn't I see you at one of these affairs. You had that silly hat on and kept talking about all the stock you owned.

hit the lights. If it's a room full of people, I usually walk alongside the wall to find a comfortable spot to plant myself.

Look around for something to do. If I dont keep myself busy, I end up thinking about al the crappy things in my life and get really mopey. But I usually head straight for the computer or my cell phone or my camera or my iPod.

i smile, because i re-decorated last weekend and i'm still in love with my room ^.^..i'll get bored of it eventually though.
after my smile
i check the time while putting my stuff down (purse, sunglasses, shopping bags, whatever i'm carrying..)
then i start taking off my shoes and after that i put music on,
then i sit on my lil couch/chair
grab the phone/turn on the computer/read a book/do some situps lollll/paint<3/clean it!!/ something!! :o)

depends on the room. usually i put my purse down and sit in the recliner if its the living room. bedroom its turning on the tv and making the dogs get off my bed,the kitchen is fix me a glass of soda

is it light, is it dark? if its light i will just go into the room i entered and do whatever i need to do in there, if its dark the first thing i do is turn on a light then do whatever i need to do.
