I recently went to see Jersey Boys twice already....it's amazing!!....I mean really amazing! And my dad thinks it's pre-recorded because it sounds soooo good. But, COME ON! That's why it's a musical right...because it's all LIVE!! Someone please confirm I'm right....that way I can reasure my dad that he is a ding-dong....anyone in the biz that knows the truth???

I am afraid father knows best. He's right. Much of our stage musicals (and music concerts by your favorites) are recorded and sung along to.

The truth is that musicals sometimes use pre-recorded elements to "sweeten" the on-stage vocals a little. But that doesn't mean that entire shows are lip-synched or anything. So if that's what your dad is thinking, he's wrong.
