Well if you limit it to the four classic team members, I'd have to go with the Thing. He is the heart of the team. Disfigured he fights on and gives hope to all those out there never to give up; even if we are not perfect.

I really like the Human Torch and the Thing equally. I always get a good laugh whenever they get mad at each other.
